Prestigious Shantha Ram Award given away to Tamannah

The milk white beauty Tamanna Bhatia has won the prestigious Shantha Ram Award for her performance in the 2008 movie 'Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam' . The award was announced on the 13th of December . She acted opposite to Siddharth in this film. She is the only performer from South India to have won a Shantaram award . Shantaram has been known as an intellectual in film fraternity and Tamannah sure seems to have made all proud.

Also, her director of the same movie, Kishore Kumar ( Dolly ) has won the award in Best Debut Director category. The director is planning to make the movie in Hindi by Raja Shri Productions and Suresh Productions .
