It has been a while since Nithin has not been to score a hit recent time. He has come up with another rather interesting title ' Rechipo ' with success star Ileana. Yet again in a mass entertainer, let us see if Nitin scored success in this or not after 10 failures.

 

Story

 

Shiva (Nithin) is a young and dynamic thief. He robs money from the rich people and distributes that among the poor and needy like Robin Hood. Police commissioner (Bhanuchander) helps to Shiva . Shiva comes to know of a massive Rs 500 Cr in the Home Minister 's (Ahuthi Prasad) house. The money belongs to Dubai based Mafia leader Sukoor . It has been collected from cricket betting in India.

He accidentally meets a naughty girl Krishnaveni (Ileana) and falls in love with her. Krishnaveni incidentally happens to be daughter of Home Minister . Shiva steals the Rs 500 Cr from Home Minister 's house and runs away from the place. Mafia leader Sukoor Knowing that his men were arrested and Rs 500 Cr was seized, The mafia leader in Dubai soon kidnaps Krishnaveni and demands release his men and payback the stolen money. Home Minister asks Siva to go to Dubai and save his daughter. How Siva rescue Krishnaveni from the villain and bring back home safely is rest of the story.

 

Performance

Nitin:

Nitin has played as thief to perfection. He does his best and as usually focused on dances but he needs to hone his delivery skills.

Iliyana:

Ileana has been looking fantastic and gorgeous but she does not seem to be in her best elements. Her costumes are perfect which designed by her mother.

Others

Ahuthi Prasad , as the father of Ileana and the Home Minister played rotine. The comedy department Sunil, Suman Shetty, M.S. Narayana and Raghubabu are not up to the mark. Bhanuchander is decent as a police officer. Others are okey.

 

Technical Department

 

Technically too the film is a letdown. Manisharma 's music not up to the mark and average rerecording. Cinematography by Surender Reddy is imperfect. Production values are quite high. The editing is poor and the film is very lenthy as two hours and 50 minutes. Director Paruchuri Murali failed to bring in conviction to his narration and others are okay.

 

Analysis:

 

Rechipo is a full dose masala movie but excitement less. The comedy is also weak although Sunil and Venu Madhav tried to spill some laughs. The track is written very weak and hence things didn't work at all. This film depends on the support of mass audiences and the posters with glamorous Iliyana may help to some extent. To conclude, the film didn't meet the expectations.
